SPRING
SUNDAY SCHOOL QUARTER BEGINS TODAY: The spring Sunday School
quarter will begin Today with Ramona Kryder, Madelyn Olson, Shirley
Pick and Pastor Ward continuing to teach in their same classrooms.
EASTER BREAKFAST COMMITTEE: Please meet in Cindy’s office
right after church TODAY for a short meeting. This will replace the
meeting that was scheduled for Wednesday, March 10th.
COMMUNITY LENTEN SERVICES: The Stateline Ministerial Association
has organized the following Community Lenten Services: Tonight - Paul
Lamm at Rock City United Methodist Church; Mar. 14 - Dennis Buss at
Freeport Mennonite Church; Mar. 21 - Timm Kidd at St. Paul’s Church
& the Good Friday Service on April 2 - John McIntosh at Dakota Methodist
Church (1:00 p.m.). All Sunday services will begin at 7:00 p.m. unless
otherwise noted.
DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME BEGINS NEXT SUNDAY: Daylight Saving Time
begins next Sunday, March 14th, at 2:00 a.m. Don’t forget to set
your clocks ahead or you’ll be late to church next week!
COMMITTEE SIGN-UP: If you’re willing
to help on one of the Fellowship Events this year, please sign-up on
the sheet posted on the tripod in the foyer. This is a great way to
get involved with the church family.
BASKETBALL OPEN GYM: Basketball open gym
has begun and will be held on Thursday’s from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.,
continuing each Thursday evening until further notice. Contact the church
office with questions.
WELCOME TEAM REMINDER: Members of our Welcome
Team are reminded to sign up to staff our Welcome Table for an upcoming
Sunday in April.
HFYM SERVICE PROJECT: Anyone who has projects
around the house, inside or outside, that the youth group could do for
you, please contact Andrew Schubert.
VILLAGE NEWSPAPER AVAILABLE: Copies of the March Echoes of Cedarville
village newspaper are available on the north table in the foyer for
those who are interested.
OUR DAILY BREAD DEVOTIONALS AVAILABLE: Copies of the March, April,
May edition of the Our Daily Bread devotionals are available at the
Welcome Table in the foyer for those who are interested.
FACC DONATION BOX: A donation box is available
in the hallway in the foyer for anyone who would like to contribute
non-perishable food items or personal care products such as soap, tooth
brushes, tooth paste, etc. Donations will be taken to FACC for distribution
to those in need.
FELLOWSHIP COMMITTEE MEETINGS: In an effort
to organize some of the upcoming events, we have scheduled the following
committee meetings at 7:00 p.m. at the church: March 11 - Ladies Banquet/Program;
March 18 - Fun Fair/All Church Picnic; March 23 - Fall Potluck/Appreciation;
March 25 - Adult Christmas Dinner; April 6 - Thanksgiving Dinner. Some
people have already signed up to help on a committee but we want to
invite everyone else to join the fun of planning these fellowship events.
You can sign up for as many committees as you want.
ROCKFORD RESCUE MISSION WORKSHOP: On Thursday,
March 18th, the Mission will host their third annual seminar “Wolves
in Sheep’s Clothing: A Shepherd’s Guide to Domestic Violence
in the Flock”. For more information or to register for this FREE
seminar, see flyers on the north table in the foyer.
MARCH BIRTHDAY/ANNIVERSARY LIST AVAILABLE: Copies of the March
birthday/anniversary list are available on the north table in the foyer
for those who were not here when they were distributed.
CAMP REGISTRATION INFORMATION AVAILABLE: Rock River Bible Camp
Registration forms for all camps are now available on the north table
in the foyer. If you are in need of financial assistance this year,
please contact the church office so that help can be provided. Forms

YOU-LEAD OPPORTUNITY: ‘You Lead’
is a leadership camp for youth in high school, June 27 - July 2. Forms
are available on the north table in the foyer. For more information,
