MEETING TODAY: Anyone that is interested in helping with a children's midweek program this fall should meet between church & Sunday school today in the last classroom on the north side in the gym.
 
FALL HOURS BEGIN SEPTEMBER 4Th: Please note that fall hours will begin Sunday, Sept 4th. The worship service will begin at 9:30 a.m. and Sunday school will follow at approximately 11:00 a.m. Sunday school will dismiss at 11:45.
 
OUR DAILY BREAD DEVOTIONALS AVAILABLE: Copies of the September, October, November edition of the Our Daily Bread devotionals are now available on the table in the foyer for those who are interested.
 
SIGN-UP SHEETS: Pastor Dan & Cindy would like to get to meet everyone from the church. Please sign up on the sheet posted on the tripod in the foyer and let them know what day and time of the week works best for you. They will then contact you to make the arrangements.
 
HFYM FUNDRAISER: The students of HFYM are selling discount cards for $10. The money being raised will help HFYM with future missions trips. Please help support them by purchasing a card. See Dustin Schubert with questions.
 
WELCOME TEAM REMINDER: Members of our Welcome Team are reminded to sign up to staff our Welcome Table for an upcoming Sunday in September.
 
DONATIONS: We are asking for financial donations to help cover the cost of consumable items (envelopes, ink, etc) for our card making group. This is a very important ministry, so please help as you can. A box will be available on the card rack in the foyer for your donations.
 
VILLAGE NEWSPAPER AVAILABLE: Copies of the August Echoes of Cedarville village newspaper are available on the north table in the foyer for those who are interested.
 
BACKPACKS & BLACK SHOES: We are collecting new or gentled used backpacks & black shoes-any size for the children at the orphanage in Africa. We will have a donation box in the foyer for you to put the items in. Contact Amanda Cummins @ 815-990-6075 with questions.
 
FACC DONATION BOX: A donation box is available in the hallway in the foyer for anyone who would like to contribute non-perishable food items or personal care products such as soap, tooth brushes, tooth paste, etc. Donations will be taken to FACC for dist. to those in need.

2011 HIKE FOR LIFE: On Saturday, September 17th the Freeport Pregnancy Center will be having a fund-raiser to raise support for mothers and their children. Sponsor sheets are available on the north table in the foyer if you would like to participate. Registration is at 10:00 a.m. at Krape Park - Koening Shelter, Hike starts at 10:30. MISSIONS TRAINING SEMINAR: Mark your calendars for the missions seminar that is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 24th. Our church is hosting this event so we are going to need some people to help that day also. Contact Jean Schubert if you have any questions.
 
2ND ANNUAL RRBC CHICK FEST: Invited are all ladies 18-108 who would like to enjoy a relaxing weekend at Rock River Bible Camp.
Included in this weekend is two nights stay at the beautiful RRBC, accommodations in one of the cozy, rustic cabins and five tasty meals served in the renowned dining hall.  Also included:  Special speakers, Christian fellowship with other ladies, evening campfires, singing, games, and activities planned especially for women.
